As we reflect on the past 100 years of this Society, it is with heartfelt gratitude that we honor the dedicated women who have tirelessly built this organization and served their communities through Patriotic, Historical and Educational endeavors. We continue to honor their legacy by fulfilling the Objects of the National Society and its Motto – Past, Present, and Future.

The Seal of the Society is a spreading Oak Tree

Since the oak tree is a symbol of sturdy endurance, and since some variety of it grows in every State in the Union, that an oak tree form the central part of the design for the Seal of the Society, a tree with its trunk and branches being, also, the symbol of a family.

Who are the Kansas Daughters of the American Colonists?

Members of the Kansas Daughters of the American Colonists are descendants of individuals who resided in America during its colonial period under foreign rule. These individuals served in 28 categories of acceptable patriotic or civil service before the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
